If You Have Zero Car Sales Experience, Then We’re Hiring.

by Admin - Posted 3 months ago

We hear it every day.

Customers come in and tell us the same thing: “I just got laid off.” Or, “My company cut hours.” Or, “I’m trying to figure out what’s next.”

Meanwhile, we’re trying to find people to hire.

Not someday. Not eventually. Right now.

We’re Growing. And We Need the Right People.

At Cincinnati Auto Credit, business is steady. People still need reliable vehicles, and they still need a dealership that treats them fairly.

That’s why we’re looking to add a full-time Sales Associate at our Gilbert Avenue location. But before you assume you’re not qualified, let’s clear something up.

You Don’t Need Car Sales Experience

In fact, we’d prefer if you don’t have it.

The used car industry has a reputation. You know exactly what we mean. Pushy sales tactics, fast talking, saying whatever it takes to close a deal.

That’s not how we operate.

We’re not looking for someone who’s been trained in that environment. We’re looking for someone who’s the opposite of that.

If you’re the kind of person who values honesty, treats people the right way and actually listens, you’re already a better fit than most “experienced” car salespeople.

Who We’re Looking For

This job isn’t complicated, but it does require the right mindset.

You need to be trustworthy. That’s non-negotiable.

You need to be friendly and able to talk to people without making it feel like a transaction.

You need to be willing to work. Not just show up, but actually put in the effort to help customers and be part of a team.

If you want income growth and a real opportunity to build something for yourself, this is a place where that can happen.

The Details (Because Yes, They Matter)

This is a full-time, in-person position at our Gilbert Ave location in Cincinnati.

Pay ranges from $35,000 to $65,000 per year depending on performance.

We also offer real benefits, not just promises. That includes health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with matching, paid time off and employee discounts.

You do need to be able to commute to the location, and if you’re relocating, you’ll need to be in the area before starting.

Let’s Address the Elephant in the Room

If you’re “anti-used car” because of how the industry operates, you might actually fit in here.

We built this business specifically to be different from that stereotype.

We’re not perfect, but we’re intentional about how we treat people, both customers and employees.

That’s why we’re picky about who we hire.

The Bottom Line

If you’ve been affected by layoffs or you’re just looking for a change, this is a real opportunity.

No experience required. No gimmicks. No catch.

Just a chance to come in, work hard, treat people right and build a career.

If that sounds like you, we’d like to talk.

I've been with waffle House since 1992. Honesty is my biggest strength and also my Achilles Hill. I've always wanted to be a car salesman, but never figured I had the education or experience that I need. I'm a GED graduate and turning 53 in July. If you are interested in me, I'm sure interested in selling cars.
