The Used Car Market Has Changed- And So Have the Customers Walking Through Our Doors

Not long ago, a customer came in with a top-tier credit score and $2,500 cash in-hand. That’s the kind of buyer who, in years past, wouldn’t have even considered a buy-here-pay-here dealership. We asked her why she came to us instead of somewhere else, and her answer was telling. She’d been turned down everywhere else.


A few years ago, that scenario just wouldn’t have happened. But today, we’re seeing more and more people in that top tier credit range, with real money to put down, coming to us after being denied by traditional lenders and dealerships.

People showed up early. They waited patiently. They came prepared. And many had strong, marketable skills. People from industries like IT whose contracts had ended, or professionals impacted by workforce reductions. These aren’t without experience or work ethic. These are people who just need an opportunity.
